Since 1992 The Vermont Institutes (formerly the Vermont Institutes for Science, Math and Technology) has been a major partner in research-based professional development, product development, and research and evaluation for Vermont educators. Our work in mathematics, science, and technology has impacted thousands of Vermont educators and tens of thousands of Vermont students over the past nineteen years.

As we prepare to embark on the final year of our partnership with the National Science Foundation's Noyce Teacher Leadership Program, we are also in the process of sun-setting the work of our organization. We have developed a plan for completing all current obligations in the next year and ceasing operations on or about the end of the 2011-12 academic year.

We are extremely thankful for the many strong supporters of our work, past and present, including corporate, higher education, state and K-12 partners; our outstanding Board members and officers; and our talented and dedicated staff and leadership.

Thanks for your interest in The Vermont Institutes. If you have questions about our organization or the work we are completing please contact me:
